Clinical VR software, compared

Six vendors clinicians actually evaluate, one criterion per row. Where another one fits your practice better than we do, it says so on their page.

One page each

The honest version, vendor by vendor

Each page says what that vendor does better than us. Not as a rhetorical device — because a clinician who buys the wrong tool churns in three months, and that is worse for us than the sale we did not make.

Frequently asked

What clinicians ask us

What is the best VR software for psychology?

There is no best in the abstract, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling. If your clinical work is PTSD, addictions or eating disorders, C2Care has the broadest catalogue today and is the right answer. If it is specific phobias, anxiety and relaxation, and you care that the data does not leave the EU, that is where we fit. If what you want is the patient working alone at home, neither of us: that is oVRcome. We have 5 phobia scenarios running and we say so plainly, without counting the ones still in build to pad the number.

Why should we trust your comparison? You are an interested party.

We are, and we do not pretend to be neutral. What we do is publish third-party rates with their source and the date we checked them, mark explicitly where another vendor beats us, and never estimate a price a competitor does not publish. If you spot a stale figure, write to us and we will correct it on this page.

What is the difference between paying per headset and paying per practice?

The curve changes as you grow. With per-headset pricing, every device you add multiplies the bill: two headsets is double, four is quadruple. With per-practice pricing the plan includes several devices and adding one more is a flat amount. The difference does not show in month one; it shows when you open the second room or hire the third therapist.

Do you have a US entity?

No. VRET is a European company and clinical data is hosted in the European Union. For a US practice that cuts both ways: EU hosting is a strong privacy answer, and having no US entity means no US-hours support and no US-specific compliance paperwork. If your framework requires a covered-entity agreement with a US vendor, we are not the right fit today — and we would rather you know that now than after signing.

Before you decide

What actually decides it is your caseload

Thirty minutes, with your caseload in the room

Tell us what presentations you see and we will check whether the catalogue covers them. If it does not, we will say so in that half hour and there will be no second call.
